The big story out of the summit is not that Republicans and Democrats extended their hands in friendship, but that the White House has dug its heels into the dirt. The Democrats are not taking reconciliation off the table, they are not paring back the bill, and they are not extricating themselves from the issue. They think they’re right on this one, and they’re going to try and pass this legislation.

Today was a boost for that effort. The Democrats got hours to make their case, at an event they planned, with one of their own controlling the discussion. For that reason, I imagine that this will be the last bipartisan summit we see for awhile. The format is simply too kind to the president, and he takes advantage of it ruthlessly. When the camera panned, you could almost see Republicans wondering why they’d accepted the invitation.

The people who came off best were those who knew the most about the issue. Paul Ryan and Tom Coburn on the Republican side. Dick Durbin and Chris Dodd for the Democrats. But above all of them, the president, who got to enter, adjudicate and conclude discussions at will — not to mention say when others didn’t know that much about the issue, or weren’t offering comments in good faith. That willingness to put himself above Congress, combined with the structure of the event, allowed Obama to fully dominate the proceedings, and he used the opportunity to firmly assert ownership over the health-care bill. This is now his legislation.

A TPM commenter:

Obama: “Oh, and one more thing: if any of you ever accuse me of hating my own country again, or of wanting to destroy it or take it down, I’m going to slap the sh*t out of you in front of your wife and kids, and then slap you for sh*tting. That sh*t is out of bounds, get it?”

That would rock. It’ll never happen, but it’s way overdue.

When Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq., through her attorney, Dr. Jonathan Levy of the firm of Brimstone & Co., broke the news the other day that she had applied to the UN for protection as a human rights dissident, there was only a small hint that, in addition to the Usurpin’ Mofo in the White House, she’d be bringing the blue helmets banging down on the heads of three former felonious friends: Charles Lincoln III, Larry Sinclair and Lucas Daniel Smith.

The press release on February 22 only said:

The California attorney has been the victim of death threats, vandalism, false complaints, and a suspected assassination attempt. Her reports to law enforcement and the judiciary have been ignored.

The “false complaints” was the hint, but Dr. Levy went further in talking to Spencer Kornhaber of the OC Weekly:

Just got off the phone with Levy. He says his main concern is that Taitz has made multiple complaints to law enforcement about threats against her, and about former allies who have, under oath, said Taitz asked them to commit perjury. For anyone else, he argues, accusations of perjury would be investigated. It’s plausible that because of the controversial nature of her work, Levy argues, Taitz isn’t getting the treatment she deserves.

Levy points out the shady background of Taitz’s former associates who have become enemies, such as convicted forger Lucas Smith and disbarred attorney Charles Edward Lincoln III. Sure, she made the decision to work with them in the first place, but…

“How were they introduced to her?” Levy wonders. “Where did these people come from? Why did they attached themselves to her and then turn around and make very serious allegations, allegations that are never investigated? Personally speaking, I find it rather bizarre that you have accusations of suborning perjury and law enforcement never takes any look at it. I’m not saying there’s a conspiracy, but you certainly can understand there’s some concern there.”

I’m not saying there is a conspiracy, oh no: It’s just that George Soros paid these people to infiltrate poor Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq.’s Traveling Circus of Birfoonery on behalf of the Usurper, Barack Obama.

While I happen to think Lincoln and Smith are more opportunists than Birthers, like Jonathan Levy, Larry Sinclair has explicitly said he is not a Birther. Even if Sinclair was not named by Levy, it’s almost guaranteed by oversight.

Sinclair at first agreed to testify in Taitz’s case, Barnett v. Obama, in California and has had his subsequent affidavit accusing Taitz of suborning perjury filed in federal courts in three states, California, Pennsylvania and Florida; as has Lucas Smith, who, in addition, appeared in court in California and testified in court in Florida.

Charles Lincoln was accused by Taitz of committing forgery in that Florida case, Rivernider v. US Bank, but the judge did not agree. However, Taitz had made it very clear that she wanted Lincoln arrested and tried in a criminal court, without ever swearing out a complaint against him with police, that I am aware of.

Actually, if she had filed charges against any one of the three, any one of them, it would have been all over the Internet. I don’t have personal knowledge of how criminal procedures work, but I think you know when something like that happens to you. In any case, since Orly posts even the smallest thing to her web site, I am fairly sure it would have been known if she had filed charges or lawsuits against them, and if she didn’t post about it, Lincoln would likely have written about it on his web site, Smith would have publicized it on his YouTube channel, and Larry Sinclair would have been screaming from the rooftops.

I don’t understand why Dr. Levy doesn’t ask his client how these people were introduced to her, rather than bothering the UN with this crap and humiliating the nation. I can’t recall that Taitz made any public statement about first meetings, but surely she can tell her lawyer all about it.

Her three felons have made statements.

In the affidavit Sinclair filed in the Pennsylvania Birther v. Birther case, Liberi v. Taitz, Sinclair swore:

I received an email from Dr. Orly Taitz a Defendant in the within action, asking me to testify on her behalf in a discovery hearing set for September 8, 2009 in the matter of Captain Pamela Bennett, et al. v. Barack H. Obama, et al, U.S. District Court, Central
District of California, Southern Division, Case No. SACV 09-0082 DOC (ANx).

In September, 2009, Larry Sinclair posted to his former blog, that he and Taitz had been in contact since January, 2008 (I take this as a typo for January, 2009), yet in a meeting with him on September 7, 2009:

2. Taitz was completely unaware of any of my history. She had no knowledge that I had past criminal convictions (which I made clear from day one in Jan 2008 [sic]). When told of my past Taitz acted as if she was hit by a mack truck.

3. Taitz wanted me to testify that there were three murdered individuals from Obama’s church. I immediately told Taitz that I had made it clear to her almost a year ago that this was incorrect information fed to her and I would not testify to any such thing. I informed Taitz that these claims were false as to Nate Spencer being murdered, and Spencer had in fact died from Aids.

I wrote that September:

Sinclair says he is under attack by Orlybots and this is without doubt true, knowing Orlybots. He says Taitz told him herself that her supporters were upset “and accused me [Sinclair] of bringing in salacious sex claims into the case.” However, Sinclair seems to have been asked into the case by Orly Taitz, not the other way around. He refers to email and telephone contact prior to his flying to California for the hearing, and at one point, once there, says he asked her: “Why did you decide to contact me and ask me to come out for this hearing?” Taitz was by her own account aware of Sinclair’s “volatile” sex claims, as she pushed them to Gabriel Winant of Salon on August 10.

It should be noted that both Taitz and Sinclair were involved with the early PUMA groups, on blogs such as the now defunct Texas Darlin’, so it’s possible they interacted in 2008, as Sinclair posted.

As far as I am aware, Lucas Smith only met Orly Taitz in early September, 2009, when he was in California on her behalf to testify in Barnett v. Obama, testimony which Judge Carter refused to hear. He has written about this few-weeks acquaintanceship in great detail. He states that Taitz sent him money to return to the US and come to California, which he did.

Charles Lincoln III, as is well known, has written reams about his personal and professional relationship with Taitz. He has said they began working together June 9 on Liberi v. Taitz, before they made their honeymoonish tour of New Jersey on June 25. In an affidavit by Kathy Garcia-Lawson, a friend of Lincoln’s, she describes how sometime around May, 2009, Taitz told her she needed legal help. Garcia-Lawson suggested Taitz contact her friend Charles Lincoln, which she did, and the Taitz, Lincoln partnership began soon after.

Orly Taitz doesn’t need the United Nations to investigate, as Dr. Levy implies, how her three felons came to her. She invited two of them to testify in her cases, initiated a work relationship and allegedly went to bed with the third. She has not disputed any of it. But in her narcissistic manner, she believes she is entitled to the attention of an international body which normally involves itself with horrific crimes, like genocide. Anything, anything to bring attention to herself, she is pretending that she thinks President Obama sent the three felons to her.

All three of Orly’s felons have been making noise about running for public office. Larry Sinclair is well into his campaign for a Congressional seat from Florida. Charles Lincoln III announced yesterday a run for the US Senate from California. Lucas Smith had thought he might run for Lt. Governor of California with Lincoln running for Governor, but that plan was scrapped. As far as I’ve seen, Smith still expects to run for president in 2016, but meanwhile he is working on Charles Lincoln’s Senate campaign. Of course, Taitz herself has been threatening to enter California state politics.

I am sure the other three would-be politicians, whose political backing can never come from anywhere but the rightmost right wing, appreciate being tossed into a conspiracy theory with Barack Obama by Orly Taitz, and threatened with having the United Nations investigate them.

Come on, guys, are you going to let her disgrace you this way, especially in the middle of your political campaigns? Men or mice?

Here is Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. yesterday talking about her UN situation with “Russia Today”:

I don’t always hear well when my eyes are rolling, but if she said she’s ever filed charges or lawsuits against her three felons, I missed it. It’s all about the FBI and the DOJ and the Judiciary and President Obama, just as it ever was.
