January 3, 2011 – Let’s start with a roundup from Verbalobe, in case tensions have risen so high in your family, nobody talks to each other anymore over the dinner table. Sometimes a refresher can help explain why:

January 4, 2011 – Birther Minister of Hate James David Manning, who on his best day is unable to contain the unchristian hatred he bears for President Obama, in a video chock full of Birther lies, and crying “Nigga, nigga, nigga,” awards the “Nigger of the Year of 2010″ prize to Clarence Page, David Corn and Bill O’Reilly.

What became of the innocent youth brainwashed by “the Moscow of Southern California” in the early 1980s? John Drew is once again hitting the RWNJ headlines for his attention-whoring of maybe 24 hours total acquaintance with Barack Obama three decades ago. John Drew, who visited Occidental College while Obama was a student there, claims (and claims and claims) that the President of the United States is a “Marxist-Leninist” or “Marxist socialist” today, as much as he was a “Marxist-Leninist” or “Marxist socialist” as a nineteen-year-old.

Among Obama’s actual schoolmates when he was at Occidental, who did know him, and have spoken of the young Barack: Robert McCrary became general manager of a sewing company; Vinai Thummalapally, president of a manufacturing company; Phil Boerner went into public relations; Imad Husain became a banker; Paul Carpenter, a lawyer; Kent Goss, a lawyer; Ken Sulzer, also a lawyer; Lisa Jack, a psychologist; Louis Hook, an executive in communications technology and systems management; Margot Mifflin, a journalism professor; Jon K. Mitchell, a bass player; Steve Coll, an author; Hasan Chandoo, a financial consultant; Wahid Hamid, vice-president at Pepsico; Eric Moore, commercial real estate executive; John Boyer, surgeon; Caroline Boss, writer and educator, in business with her husband, Tom Grauman.

Quite a crop of capitalist tools, there, turned out by “the Moscow of Southern California.”

John Drew, a graduate of Occidental College, was not a contemporary of Barack Obama’s at Occidental College. He met him a few times on visits from graduate school on the other side of the country. While Drew makes a big deal of this connection, he barely knew Barack Obama. How well could he possibly know Barack Obama from a couple of parties and seeing him near the mailboxes?

Drew grew up to be “a Ronald Reagan, churchgoing, Baptist conservative,” making his living helping people write proposals for socialistic government grants. He believes greater success would have come to him, had he not been held back by affirmative action; although, like President Obama, Drew attended private colleges on scholarship, so he wasn’t exactly deprived.

Barack Obama grew up to be President of the United States, leader of the free world, a circumstance which drives (the jealous beyond belief) John Drew to simultaneously bask in the Obama glow, a filament-thin connection though he has; while obsessively hitting hundreds of comment sections all over the Internet, copying and pasting his tale, again and again and again, for years on end, in a sick effort to destroy the one who succeeded in life so spectacularly beyond him.

It’s just plain pathetic, but John Drew is writing a whole book about his fleeting brush with somebody else’s future fame. So what do the people listed above, who actually knew the young Obama, have to say about John Drew and his McCarthy-like red-baiting of President Obama? Nothing, so far, unless you count Hasan Chandoo, answering a direct question:

The only person Drew references in his tales who has spoken publicly about them is a former Obama associate named Hasan Chandoo. Two years ago, when asked about Drew’s assertions that Obama was an ardent Marxist, Chandoo, who is now a financial consultant, told the conservative magazine NewsMax that…

“I can’t remember Obama ever talking like that. It sounds a bit absurd to me, but that’s my opinion. I can’t remember him ever expressing an interest in being a Marxist.”

There is no shame in it, if a college student discusses Marxism; it’s supposed to be that way in becoming educated, as John Drew well knows. I would be surprised to learn Obama discussed the topic only with John Drew. But is only John Drew allowed to have evolved his political thinking as he grew up?

If John Drew, who touts himself as an award-winning political scientist, a respected scholar–”among the most talented scholars of my generation,” no less–is writing a book about President Obama’s college years, surely he has gathered substantiating statements from those who were there when Obama was there. That’s the way it’s done. Yet we see one statement by one classmate of Obama’s, who discounts John Drew’s story.

Is there no one who will back up the word of John Drew?

Drew argues that The Bridge by David Remnick, which includes interviews with Occidental classmates of Obama’s, substantiates his view of Obama as a latter and present day Marxist, but anyone who has read the book knows John Drew had to have been dreaming when he took that conclusion from Remnick’s book.

Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. has been instigating her Flying Monkeys to harass state officials and elections boards around the country, with piles of paper she filed in Taitz v. Fuddy in Hawaii; a hilarious hearing on this case was held on November 30. The package is making the rounds, state to state, from Tennessee to Indiana.

On Tuesday, this week, a Birther named Danny Alan Vestal requested that Don Wright, General Counsel of the North Carolina State Board of Elections, advise him on the status of what Vestal considers a “complaint” he filed with the North Carolina agency, but is pretty much a copy-paste job of Taitz v. Fuddy, which Vestal forwarded to Mr. Wright.

Mr. Wright explained to Vestal:

You have filed nothing with this agency. You have sent us e-mails involving a matter filed under Hawaiian law. The North Carolina State Board of Elections does not have jurisdiction over social security numbers, the President’s birth records from another state, or whether the name he uses for legal purposes today is different from his passport records when he was a child. Finally, any question about his eligibility to be on the ballot in the future is not yet ripe as he has not been named the nominee of a political party for 2012.

Several court decisions have confirmed that he was and is qualified to hold the office of President. They have been no court decisions to the contrary.

Again we have received your e-mails, but they are not considered as filings since they are under Hawaiian law and we lack jurisdiction over the subject matter. Also I know of no provision in North Carolina law that allows the State Board of Elections to hold an emergency hearing on the qualifications of a setting U.S. President.

Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. responds in that polite, respectful, professional way she has, to Wright:

5. I demand an immediate hearing for me and for Danny Vestal to appear before the Secretary of State or the elections board and provide all the evidence, Mr. Obama can provide his rebuttle and a decision has to be made, if he can be on the ballot in N.C. primary. If this is not done, than you are criminally complicit in elections fraud, forgery, uttering of forged identification documents by Obama, obstruction of justice, misprision of multiple felonies and possibly treason, and a criminal complaint will be filed with all the proper agencies against you, elections board and the Secretary of state in due time.

6. I would like to remind you that some 40 high ranked governmental officials, including Attorney General of the United States and White House Counsel went to prison during Watergate. ObamaFraudGate and ObamaForgeryGate is much bigger than Watergate. You and your clients, Elections Board of NC, as well as Secretary of State of NC need to think long and hard, whether you want to end up in the same predicament, as governmental officials who were aiding and abetting Nixon in Watergate.

She should start to reconsider this tack, wouldn’t you say, in view of the Rules of Professional Conduct for The State Bar of California, Rule 5-100. But Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq.’s unprofessional behavior is old news. The California Bar’s allowing it to continue is old news. Her involving herself with felons, also old news. But there is a bit more interesting old news here concerning Danny Alan Vestal.

The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit levied sanctions against Vestal, imposed by published per curiam opinion, back during the Clinton Administration. So, frivolous litigating, sanctions, these are things, besides Birtherism, that Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. and Danny Alan Vestal have in common. To my knowledge, Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. has ever been in prison for rape, though.

INITIAL 86050801 RAPE SECOND DEGREE (PRINCIPAL) FELON CLASS D
CONSOLIDATED FOR JUDGMENT 00000000 INDECENT LIBERTY W/CHILD (PRINCIPAL)

Birthers do spend an inordinate time in jail. I can probably think of a half-dozen off the top of my head just in the past year and ex-cons abound in the Birther ranks. Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq. was bound to bump up against another one, but a child rapist? Jesus, Orly, can’t even you do better than this?

NOTE 1/14/2012: Having heard a number of recent reports of computer virus infections suffered by visitors to Orly Taitz’s web site, OFGS has deadened links leading there. As we have done in the past, when such problems have arisen, we will not be linking to her site for the foreseeable future.
