Georgia Gov Candidate A Birther Freak
From TPMDC:
Rep. Nathan Deal (R-GA), a candidate in the GOP primary for Governor of Georgia, has announced that he is signing a letter to the White House with several of his colleagues — asking for a copy of President Obama’s birth certificate.
Deal made the announcement this morning in an online chat held by his campaign, when asked by Tom Crawford of the Georgia Report.
Like all good Birfers, Nathan Deal is quite concerned with birth certificates and colored folks, saying last month:
“We got all the complaints of the ghetto grandmothers who didn’t have birth certificates and all that. We wrote some very liberal language as to how you can verify it.”
When the House unanimously passed a resolution recognizing Hawaii as Obama’s birthplace on its 50th Anniversary as a state, Deal was among those who did not vote. Deal defended Rep. Joe Wilson’s publicly insulting President Obama at his September health care address before Congress. Deal is ranked as one of the most corrupt Members of Congress. An ethics complaint was filed against him this August, based on a report in a Georgia newspaper. He is also known for encouraging the eating of peanuts during a salmonella outbreak late last year.
Hey, look! Over there!
