This little blog was originally intended to highlight ridiculousness exhibited by both right and left in the course of the Obama presidency. As it is turning out, though, once you turn your eye on the Birther movement, it becomes almost impossible to look away.
The other day World Nut Daily told its readers:
A judge hearing one of the cases challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president has taken the unusual step of describing the dispute as a serious constitutional issue and further has begun adding letters of comment from the public to the court record.
Word of the action by U.S. Magistrate Judge Joel Schneider in Camden, N.J., comes from attorney Mario Apuzzo, who is handling the Kerchner vs. Obama case.
Other right wing sites carried on the letter-writing campaign to influence the judge in the Kerchner case.

I faxed on June 26 at 9:00 AM EST, a two page letter and 12 pages of documentation to Judge Schneider. My fax was sucessful. Told the judge that Obama admitted he was not NBC when he told everyone that His dad was not a US citizen. Told judge to read constitution cause it takes 2 US citizen parents to have child born on US soil to be a NBC. Told Judge Pres had to be NBC. Told Judge big difference between NBC and native citizen.
HOPE JUDGE Schneider is not intimidated like US ATTORNEY JEFF TAYLOR was.
How could anyone in their right mind think a judge would want to receive fourteen page faxes from anybody but a lawyer on the case? Try as I might, I just can’t think like a Birther; I have to add: Thank you, Jesus.

Saying, essentially, you will get these crazy people off my back, if you know what’s good for you.
Dear Mr. Apuzzo:
The Court recently learned that it has been erroneously reported on certain internet web sites that the court accepts correspondence and faxes from non-parties that will become part of the court’s file. As a result the court has received numerous letters and faxes from non-parties. Although the court does not know the source of the erroneous reports, you are nevertheless directed to advise your clients that the court does not accept correspondence or faxes from non-parties for filing in the court’s file…

Re: Letters needed NOW on Judge on Kerchner v Obama Case
This is horrible! I spent 2 days writing a perfect letter and then it took 5 hours to get there fax to work and when I seen this I called the court and the person there said that my letter and all letter were shredded and not even read.
We need to sue this horrible Judge for ignoring us.
That’ll be good.
Yet hope springs eternal in Birfistan, as they turn their sights on a new judge, according to The Jag Report.

Kerchner v Obama & Congress: AN UPDATE FROM MARIO APUZZO

See, now, that’s what I mean.
I read Judge Schneider’s letter to Apuzzo to say: “Numerous letters and faxes from non-parties.” And cut it out. Now.
Birthers read it to say they broke the fax machine with their 14-page faxes, true, but they can still send letters as long as they are addressed to a different judge in the same court.
No matter this part: “The court does not accept correspondence or faxes from non-parties for filing in the court’s file.”
I wonder why they bother. It is most certain to happen, I read it on The Jag Hunter, that the President and some of his Administration will be arrested by the military this summer, despite the military being rather busy elsewhere. The Joint Chiefs are pissed off and Hillary is, somehow or other, in quarantine.
